Join Emily Sannan, OTR/L, PYT, for a 6 week workshop that blends occupational-therapy based principles with gentle breath work, physical postures, and meditation to encourage healthy functional movement patterns.
In this workshop you will learn:
How to efficiently utilize deep core musculature to encourage joint stability
Several therapeutic breath patterns and when to use them
Evidence-based “pre-postures” that increase safety and accessibility for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
A yoga practice that addresses the pentagon of wellness (physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual)
All sessions will be recorded for future viewing of those registered.
